*Joe-Vizzone Associate Diploma in Jazz Studies, N.S.W. State Conservatorium of Music
* Various Semester/Master classes with overseas and national music tutors such as Ed Soph, Adam Nisbarm, Mel Lewis, Butch Miles, Paul Baker and Russel Garcia
* Eight years private tuition with drum tutors such as Jack Savage, Allan Turnbull, Phil Tralore, David Jones and John Collins
* Other Training: Sound and Lighting engineering and design, computer skills including technical ability, IT and networking, photography, painting, clowning and mask. Workshops in communication, meditation, stress relief, yoga, color therapy and martial arts disciplines.

* Years of experience in all aspects of music including: Performance (professional) School Orchestra, Marching Bands Jazz, Latin, Rock, Funk, Blues, Country, Reggae, African, Greek, Russian, Italian, and various other folk music, as well as musical theatre, dance theatre, deaf theatre, children’s theatre, experimental theatre and comedy theatre

* Studio session musician in most major and minor recording studios throughout Sydney and Cairns
* Performer at major art festivals in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Brisbane and Cairns
* Television and radio performance and talk back interviews
* Television and radio ‘jingle’ composition
* Composing (original scores and arrangements) for documentaries, dance troupes and diverse theatre groups
* Arts critic for ‘Performing Arts News’, Sydney
* Commercial recording/production for numerous clients
* Sound and lighting engineer for various minor bands in N.S.W., Victoria and Queensland
* Conducted workshops in music performance and therapy, instrument making, developing performance programs for mainstream and Special education children and adolescents with multiple disabilities and adolescents from disadvantaged socio economic backgrounds as well as various cultural groups throughout regional N.S.W., Sydney, Bloomfield, Hopevale, Cooktown, Cairns, Yarrabah, Babinda and Gordonvale at Aboriginal Missions, private and public schools, community halls, Community Arts Centers and various other indoor/outdoor venues

LIVE PERFORMANCE AND RECORDING
The following are but a few of the notable musicians and bands that I have performed with live, and or recorded with.
* The Australian Jazz Orchestra, The Conservatorium Big Band and various jazz ensembles under the direction of Don Burrows, George Goller, Roger Frampton, Paul MacNamar and John Nemie
* Other performers include Ricky May, Bob Barnard, Antti Sarpila, Trudy Asperling, Lester Combs, Martin Lass, Normie rowe, Allan Caswell, Bobby Gebbit, Julie Amiet, Venetta Fields, Graham Conners, David Hudson, Seaman Dan, Michael Knopf, Ruedi Homberger and Andrew Oh. Other bands include: Black Feather, Espirito, Hip Pocket, The Elizabeth Lord Band and Funjungle as well as a host of other national and local Cairns bands
* Principal, ‘The Sound Sculptors’, a musician’s cooperative, that over the past fifteen years has helped musicians to work and improve performance skills.
